A new student initiative is starting at Instituto Superior Técnico: the Técnico Student Chapter, promoted by NFIST to bring students closer to the fields of optics and photonics.

The initiative will begin this Wednesday, May 6, with a roundtable discussion featuring researchers from Técnico. Marta Fajardo, leader of VOXEL, will take part in the session alongside Marco Piccardo, Emannuel Cruzeiro, and Inês Nunes.

The roundtable will offer students the opportunity to learn more about ongoing research in optics and photonics at Técnico, explore different scientific paths, and connect with researchers working in these areas.

VOXEL is pleased to take part in this first activity and to support initiatives that strengthen the link between research and the student community.
