Training Future Physicists at the VOXEL Lab

As part of the curricular unit Física Experimental em Unidades de Investigação — a 3rd-year course in the Engenharia Física Tecnológica degree at Instituto Superior Técnico — VOXEL recently hosted students for hands-on sessions in laser–plasma interaction.

Through a series of guided experiments and discussions, students had the opportunity to observe how laser light interacts with matter at high intensities and to understand the experimental and diagnostic challenges involved. These sessions are part of our ongoing effort to contribute to the training of the next generation of physicists by connecting them early to research environments.
