VOXEL Lab: New High-Power Laser and Major Expansion Underway

VOXEL Laboratory is currently undergoing a major expansion, supported by the Flagships Compete 2030, PRR, and Equipar+2 projects. We gratefully acknowledge this funding, which is helping to strengthen our research infrastructure.

The upgrade will nearly double the laboratory’s available space and includes the installation of a new 400 mJ, 45 fs high-power laser beamline. This improved setup will support advanced ultrafast experiments and expand VOXEL’s capabilities in laser-plasma and high-energy physics.

Construction work is underway, with parts of the lab already in progress. This expansion is a great opportunity to further consolidate VOXEL’s position as a leading research facility.
